The best age for a newborn photo session is 5-14 days (better before 10 days). At this age, babies are sound asleep and less sensitive to touch. The older the baby, the longer and more difficult the shooting can be. But there are exceptions :). Please note that you do not need to wait until the baby gets older, or until his yellow skin color or any rash, or even tummy problems go away.

~ The photo session usually takes place at your home. It is 3 - 4 hrs long to ensure that there is enough of time for feeding, soothing and changing your baby. I only book one client per day so your session is not rushed and baby has all the feeds and cuddles he/she needs.
~All the necessary props, including clothes, baskets, hats, headbands and other things provided by me.

~Since the photo shoot takes place at your home, I arrive 20-30 minutes before the photo shoot to prepare the location and props.
~Photos with parents are usually taken in the middle or at the end of the photo shoot. The rest of the time I work alone and only with the baby. If you need, for any reason, to take photographs with your parents at the beginning of the shoot, please let me know in advance. For photos with parents, you can use one set of clothes. 

~Usually, I bring with me the maximum amount of props that I have. Therefore, you can choose any props during the photo shoot. However, if you have any requests or would like your baby to be captured in a specific prop or background color, please let me know in advance.

I would like to draw your attention to the fact that it is not always possible to make identical photos that you ask for, depending on the child's behavior and physiology. Therefore, the photographer reserves the right to slightly change the images during the photo shoot. If you want a specific photo, I will gladly make a similar one (depending on the situation).

Preparing for a newborn photo session

Before the photo session, prepare for the baby:
- dry and wet wipes
- spare diapers
- waterproof towel (diaper)
- pacifier (Necessarily!)
- milk mixture (if on artificial nutrition) or your milk in bottle.

- try to feed your baby well before the photo shoot so that the baby is well-fed and more likely to be calm. Remove all clothes from the baby before giving it to me (leave only the diaper and swaddle the baby).

For photos with parents: light clothes in pastel colors, clean styled hair and light makeup for mom. Please pay attention to mom and dad's nails, because I often take close-up shots of the nails. I can’t do a manicure in Photoshop later (I hope you understand).

And of course, great mood :) because on the day of the first photo session of your baby, we will create unique and memorable shots that will remain for a long time!

Babies over 1 month old

If for some reason you did not have time to have a photo session for your baby and he is already more than one month old, then do not worry! Call me and we will make a wonderful photo session! Most likely, photographs of your baby will only be swaddled, but there will be other equally beautiful photos.

What to expect after the photo shoot

After the photo shoot, you will receive a link to your personal gallery with preview photos with a watermark through my website within 10 working days (2 weeks). The choice will be from 25 or 30 photographs of your baby.
You will have to add selected photos to favorites for editing and printing. You must select the number of photos that match your service package: 4 family and 16 baby's photos. Or you can order more. I would also like to draw your attention to the fact that the package includes only 4 edited family photos. Each additional family photo that will be processed will be paid separately. Additional photo retouching is possible at a cost of $15 per photo.
Then, within 15 working days (3 weeks) (after day you sent me your selection), the photos you have chosen will be ready and sent to you through the gallery on website. Printed photographs in 6*4 inch size will be sent to you by mail within 1 month.

 

Full payment is due after the photo session. If for any reason payment is made later than on the day of the photo shoot, all deadlines for issuing photographs will be shifted from the moment of payment.

 

I would like to draw your attention to the fact that I do not provide raw (unedited) photographs under any circumstances. 
But you can by all unedited pictures for 50$.
